Did you know that guy died?

Yesterday was Superbowl Sunday, and for the first time maybe ever, I decided I was going to cheer for the same team the whole way through. I usually just root for who is winning at the moment, and that way I get to celebrate with the winners at the end. But this time, I decided that I was going to become a real Saints fan, for the following reasons:

• NOLA could really use the love.
• Reggie Bush is sexy, and I’m on Team Kim, so GO SAINTS!
• I read this article in the New York Times about Saints linebacker Scott Fujita, and I so respect him for standing up for what’s right and thought this article was great.

Thanks to Em and Dylan for being SuperHosts for yet another Superbowl. This year, they packed 17 of us into their apartment and fed us pulled pork sliders, chili, salt and pepper chips, chips and salsa, and I brought a fruit salad and this crazy ass Clementine Cake, which was fun to make but really weird and I will probably never make it again. 

Oh, and my biggest thanks goes to Anne, who supplied us with a giant bowl of Puppy Chow, the stuff I dream of and only eat once a year.
