		<description>sarah, I listened to a long interview w/Hugh Ambrose who wrote the companion ? book to the series.   I had thought he was the author of it, but no.  He was talking about what if Japan had won the war--and I got the impression that was the story.  He spoke so intimately of the characters, and about what it would have seemed like to not really be able to know what&#039;s going on or if anyone knows what they&#039;re doing (I made that last part up).  No wires and no wireless.
