My friend Dana’s raves about Stieg Larsson’s Millennium series prompted me to picked up the first book (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) in the airport on my way back from Denver. I’ve been slowly devouring it ever since, knowing that I would hit a point where it would be impossible for me to put it down. That happened this morning at about 8:30am on Chapter 14.
The second I finished, I went out and bought a new pair of sunglasses (my faves met their demise in Boulder, of course), walked briskly over to The Elliott Bay Book Company, bought the second book (The Girl Who Played With Fire) and a double-scoop of Molly Moon’s strawberry ice cream and went to read in the sun.
Here’s the problem. I can’t stop! I’m already 150 pages in after only two hours in the park, and I’m only pausing to tell everyone about it in case you haven’t already heard. Read these books so we can talk about them.
