Before you roll your eyes in protest of my 27th birthday, hear me out:
No theme. No circus. No sparkle, no splash, nothing sweet. Nothing except a bar, some drinks, and some people.
Yes, I’m still celebrating, but I’m doing it in jeans and at Still Liquor, a new bar in Capitol Hill that hasn’t even bothered to put art on the walls. That’s why I like it. Minimalist. Concrete.
I don’t feel like crafting a guest list and purposely excluding my enemies and I also don’t feel like worrying that no one will show up, so I’m inviting all 478 of my Facebook friends and the few and the proud who resist it. I figure at least 40 should be able to make it…
$3 beers, $12 creative cocktails and lots of drinks priced in between. I’ll be drinking $6 PBR’s with Elderflower Liquor. Swear to god, it’s delicious.
So Saturday, August 7th, swing by Still Liquor between 8:30 and 11pm and have a drink with me. Bring your friends- the more the merrier. Enemies are also welcome, as long as they have gifts in hand. Gifts, cards, and compliments are always completely appropriate.
